Why Hello

Hello again, my loyal reader.
I have been away for some time, a result of having to prepare for departure from Holland, departing from Holland, arriving in the States, catching up with the Family, and getting back down to Charleston.  I am now in the picturesque setting of Lake Glenville, NC, getting some much needed R&R with an old friend. I apologize for leaving you my friends, but you can understand how one cannot get much blogging done from the seat of a Train, a Boeing 757, or a 97 Maxima.
I hope you have not foolishly assumed that this blog has gone the way of so many others, to the Blogger Graveyard. Oh no my dears, things are on quite contrary indeed. I have the pleasure to announce that D&S is in fact expanding, with the addition of Justin Brewer, a friend of mine and fellow College of Charleston patron.
For now I am enjoying some of the summer sun, and planning the future of the blog/ DS website. As always, topics will be Art, Music, Fashion, Bikes, Poetry, Photography, and all other topics I deem necessary to better your understanding of my American Dream.
