Yo yo kids!
So, as most of you are aware I (among various other things) am an Art student at the College of Charleston. My latest work entitled "Recessed Filter" is going to be installed in a non-gallery space this weekend (fingers crossed on weather conditions). This project is a critique, if you will, of what we consider "real" images and what we consider "reproduced" images. I will refrain from saying much more except that due to this being a gorilla install, with no real permission from the land owners (The City of Charleston) it may not last long. Be on the lookout for a post on Saturday night, as the hope is to have the construction and assembly done and ready by Sunday sunrise. It will be a good bike ride north for most of you, but I promise it will be well worth it! Ill post a Google Maps link with instructions of how to get there, and also further instructions.
